Mountain Biking Supervisor

Millers Cove Rd, Walland, TN 37886 Mountain Bike Supervisor Pay Range: $20.00 per hour. Starting compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and other job-related factors.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervisory Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations and schedule; contact, train, and communicate with staff and other departments; assist the manager in monitoring the schedule and guiding operations. Mountain Biking Guide Trips: Guide guests on a 5-star cycling experience; provide coaching and leadership by choosing routes, navigating trails, making equipment selections and fit, demonstrating basic technique for novices; complete a tailored ride based on guests' expectations. Mountain Bike Maintenance: Maintain cycling areas, keep work spaces clean and organized; oversee maintenance and repairs of the mountain bike fleet and trails, coordinating with other departments and vendors when needed. Guest Relations: Assist guests with cycling knowledge; answer general questions regarding the sport; provide information about Blackberry interests, activities, and trail systems. Company Policies and Requirements Must comply with all company policies and procedures. Regular and consistent attendance is required to perform the essential functions. Must be able to work well with other team members, managers, and interact with guests. Must have flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Education and Experience Current CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license. High school diploma or equivalent. Language Skills Must have excellent communication skills. Must be able to communicate with guests, team members, and managers effectively. Must interact extensively with guests. Mathematical Skills Basic knowledge and understanding of math. Reasoning Ability Must be able to resolve any issues concerning guests regarding the cycling program. Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals. Must assess current conditions to provide a safe and quality experience. Physical Demands Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to be on feet most or all of the shift. Must be able to operate a company vehicle or golf cart safely. Work Environment Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions, including streams and ponds. Work on 4,200 acres of Blackberry Farm property, 5,500 acres of Blackberry Mountain property, and surrounding areas including Knoxville and Townsend biking trail systems. #J-18808-Ljbffr Blackberry Farm
