What you will be doing: Sort dirty linen, weigh and bag before the washing process Operates flat iron and feeder in a safe manner at all times Inspect clean linen for tears, stains and ensure they are wrinkle free before distribution Quality control Separate and record all damaged linen on daily basis Count, stack and pack the linen according to orders Conduct linen inventory in laundry or designated linen storage areas Sort clean towels and fold them either by machine or by hand in safe manner Clean your work station and equipment before you leave the shift Follows all safety for State & Federal & Company guidelines Weighs linen Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines What we are looking for: Experience or training working in a laundry facility, or equivalent combination is preferred. Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others. Strong interpersonal communication skills Occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) with a work environment that may be indoors and outdoors at times.
