Description Director of Nursing - Nursing Home We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team and ensure the highest standards of care for our residents. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and coordinate all nursing operations within the facility, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations Develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures to promote quality resident care Supervise and mentor nursing staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans for residents Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of resident health information Manage budgets, staffing schedules, and resource allocation effectively Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents and staff Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in nursing home care Skills and Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing Proven experience in a leadership role within a nursing home or long-term care facility Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations governing nursing home operations Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead a team effectively Compassionate, patient-focused approach to elder care Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred Join our organization and be part of a compassionate team dedicated to providing exceptional care and improving the quality of life for our residents.
