What you'll do

• Serve as the first point of contact for families, referral sources, and professionals seeking treatment information
• Conduct admission screenings and determine eligibility for services in collaboration with the clinical team
• Verify insurance benefits and assist families in understanding financial options
• Schedule admissions and coordinate intake appointments
• Complete admission paperwork, assessments, and required documentation
• Maintain accurate records within CRM and admissions systems
• Build and maintain professional relationships with referral sources and community partners
• Coordinate communication between admissions, clinical, nursing, business office, and utilization review departments
• Follow up with prospective clients and referral sources to support successful admission outcomes
• Track referrals, admissions activity, and reporting metrics
• Assist in identifying and resolving barriers that may prevent clients from accessing care

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred
• One to three years of experience in admissions, intake coordination, behavioral health, substance abuse treatment, or a related field preferred
• LCDC, LPC, or other relevant credential preferred
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Experience working with CRM systems and electronic documentation platforms
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
• Knowledge of insurance verification processes preferred
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
• Understanding of behavioral health, substance use disorders, and recovery services preferred
