Centerville Health and Rehab Location: Dayton, Ohio, United States Responsibilities Plan, organize, and implement recreational activities, including social events, games, and outings, to promote resident engagement and satisfaction Collaborate with the activities director to develop and implement a comprehensive activities program that meets the diverse needs and interests of our residents Recruit and supervise volunteers to assist with activities and events Create and maintain a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere that encourages socialization and community building among residents Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to ensure seamless delivery of activities and services Maintain accurate records of activities, attendance, and resident feedback Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., recreation therapy, gerontology) preferred Prior experience working with seniors or in a healthcare setting (n/a) Proven ability to plan and implement activities that engage and enrich the lives of seniors Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays What We Offer Join a compassionate and dedicated team: At Centerville Health and Rehab, we prioritize providing exceptional care and creating a supportive work environment that fosters growth and development. #J-18808-Ljbffr
