The Opportunity As Area Manager, you will oversee and grow our programs across the Boise region, including Caldwell, Eagle, Meridian, Nampa, Star, and surrounding areas. Reporting directly to your Owner/Operator, you will foster local partnerships, recruit and lead a team of coaches, and work closely with communities so that Skyhawks' mission and values show up in every program. The Treasure Valley is a fast growing family area, and Skyhawks has incredible room to grow with a strong, mission‑oriented Area Manager in the seat. This is full time work with a unique and flexible schedule. We are looking for someone ready to commit 24+ months to make a lasting impact in our community. Schedule will vary depending on the current season (Winter/Spring, Summer, Fall). What You Will Do and the Impact You Will Make: Maintain and grow year‑round relationships with existing accounts, including school districts, recreation departments, corporate partners, and community organizations. Collaborate with partners to plan and execute programming across all three seasons, adapting to the needs of each community. Recruit, hire, train, and oversee up to 30+ part‑time coaches seasonally, ensuring they embody the Skyhawks mission in every interaction. Manage programming, partnerships, and staff on Skyhawks' in‑house platform to a high standard of quality and safety. Serve as the local face of Skyhawks to families, partners, and the community while handling questions and concerns with care. Drive strategic growth to expand our reach through both internal and external sales. Work with our existing marketing team and interns to create and distribute program marketing. Partner with leadership to set, track, and hit seasonal and annual budgets and goals. Order, track, and inventory all sport and safety equipment and manage distribution to coaches across every season. Who You Are And What Makes You Qualified A servant leader with strong character and integrity. High motivator, with a love for challenges and real resilience. A genuine heart for kids, coaches, and community. Experienced in management, 2+ years, and building strong partnerships. Skilled at hiring, onboarding, training, and scheduling part‑time staff. Sales experience, especially with longer sales cycles, is a strong plus. An athletic background with experience in at least one Skyhawks sport, with the ability to coach programs weekly as needed. A strategic thinker with excellent communication across public speaking, presentation, email, and phone, plus strong customer service and conflict resolution skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel, and comfortable with technology. Self‑motivated, adaptable, and energized by working independently while staying in close communication with your Owner/Operator. Why This Role You will not be a cog.
