Position: Seasonal Travel RN - NICU

Shift Information

Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM

Unit Information

Unit: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) - Level IV

• Number of Beds: 42
• Number of Staff: 100
• Staff Type: Day Shift and Night Shift (1 CNC, 14-17 RNs, 1 Unit Coordinator)
• Patient Ratios: 2:1, 1:1

• Radiant warmers
• Continuous cardiorespiratory monitoring
• High Frequency Oscillating Ventilation
• Jet Ventilation
• Servo ventilation
• Tracheostomy care
• High-flow nasal cannula
• NIPPV (Non-Invasive Positive Pressure Ventilation)
• Central lines
• PIVs (Peripheral Intravenous Lines)
• Foley catheters
• Titrated medications
• Continuous medications

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care NICU Level IV hospital experience
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Level IV NICU experience

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) for floating
• Post-surgical care experience
