Responsibilities/Essential Duties:

• Serve as the school's chief instructional leader, maintaining a consistent focus on excellent teaching, rigorous curriculum, student achievement, and continuous improvement.
• Lead the development, implementation, alignment, and evaluation of curriculum across all grades and subject areas.
• Establish clear expectations for high-quality classroom instruction.
• Conduct frequent classroom visits and formal and informal teacher observations, providing timely, actionable feedback.
• Ensure meaningful and documented faculty evaluation and professional growth.
• Monitor student achievement using standardized assessments, classroom performance, formative assessments, and other appropriate measures.
• Recruit, supervise, evaluate, support, develop, and retain highly effective faculty and staff.
• Establish a professional culture characterized by collaboration, respect, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Develop professional development aligned with school priorities and faculty needs.
• Maintain a highly visible presence in classrooms, hallways, arrival and dismissal, assemblies, school events, and community activities.
• Build a culture in which students and adults feel known, respected, supported, and accountable.
• Advance the school's mission as a Greek Orthodox educational institution serving a diverse community.
• Collaborate with clergy, Greek language faculty, and school leadership to strengthen Greek language, Hellenic culture, Orthodox faith, history, traditions, and values within school life.
• Support excellence in the Greek language program.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors and Masters degree in education, leadership or a related field.
• Minimum of five years of experience in school leadership
• Connected to the Greek Orthodox Church
• Fluent in Greek.
