Credit Analyst

We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Credit Analyst to join our Data Analytics Unit. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting data-driven decision-making by analyzing credit portfolio performance, developing analytical solutions, producing management information and generating insights to strengthen credit risk management, lending strategies and portfolio profitability.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Actuarial Science, Business Analytics or a related quantitative discipline. A Master's Degree would be an asset.
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience in credit analytics, banking analytics, business intelligence, data science, risk analytics or a similar analytical role.
- Experience working with financial services data, lending portfolios or credit risk analysis.
- Technical Expertise
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, advanced formulas and data modelling.
- Strong working knowledge of Python, including analytical libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn and Matplotlib.
- Experience writing SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis, predictive modelling and data visualization.
- Experience with Power BI or Tableau would be an asset.
- Strong knowledge of banking products, including personal loans, mortgages, credit cards, SME lending, commercial loans, deposits and overdraft facilities.
- Comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end credit lifecycle and credit risk concepts, including delinquency, NPLs, PD, LGD, EAD, provisioning, vintage analysis and portfolio segmentation.
