Occupational Therapist School Setting in Oxnard, CA

Step into a dynamic school-based contract role as an Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This position offers you the chance to make a real difference across multiple school sites, working alongside a supportive and collaborative team. The assignment runs from August 11, 2026, through December 18, 2026, with the possibility for extension. Grade levels to be covered will be determined based on current needs, and our team can accommodate therapists with specific age group preferences-details can be discussed further in your interview.


Required qualifications and desired experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist licensure for school-based practice
• Previous experience working with children in educational settings
• Comfort traveling to multiple school sites
• Flexibility to adapt to a variety of age groups and caseloads
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
• SIRAS experience is a plus, but not required

Primary responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student progress
• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students, adjusting interventions as needed
• Provide timely and accurate documentation for all cases and reports
• Participate in IEP meetings and team discussions to advocate for students' occupational needs
