CNC Operator

Set up and operate multiple machines Use computer-controlled HMI setups to adjust programs or machines Load and unload products from multiple machines Gauge products to ensure proper dimensions Scope products to verify visual characteristics and defects Check product samples using assigned inspection tools and record inspection results Place products into appropriate racks Separate scrap from good product and document accurately Scan correct production information Maintain machine tooling Train new operators when required Troubleshoot moderate to complex quality and machine issues Follow safety procedures and process documents Ensure products meet routings, specifications, quantity, and style requirements Work toward daily departmental production goals Communicate safety, quality, and product issues with supervisors, team members, and across shifts Run orders by due date Inspect and modify tooling as required Coordinate with technical experts when necessary Requirements High School diploma or GED required 2-year technical degree preferred Commitment to working safely and understanding all safety procedures Ability to work 3rd shift, 11:00 pm–7:00 am Ability to work in varying temperatures and exposure to noise Ability to stand, walk intermittently, reach, sit, bend, and lift products weighing up to 33 pounds Fine motor skills for operating machinery and handling tools safely Visual acuity for reading gauges, inspecting products, and ensuring quality standards Physical stamina and ability to maintain focus during repetitive tasks Ability to follow process documents, inspection standards, routings, and specifications Ability to use HMI and assigned inspection tools Ability to troubleshoot moderate to complex quality and machine issues Reliability and dependability Core Competencies Demonstrates proficiency in operating and troubleshooting machines, ensuring product quality through inspection and adherence to safety procedures.
