Registered Nurse - ICU

Location: Arlington, TX

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7A - 7:30P, rotating weekends.

Job Description: The Registered Nurse in the ICU provides high-quality patient care in a critical care setting. This role involves working with advanced medical equipment and managing complex patient care needs while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor patients in the ICU, providing comprehensive care based on their needs.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to create and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Conduct assessments, administer medications, and perform advanced procedures such as intubations and central line placements.
• Utilize critical care equipment and technology effectively during patient care.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and post-discharge care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of hospital experience in an ICU setting.
• Active RN license for Texas. (Temporary license will not be accepted.)
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• CCRN certification is preferred.
• Experience with Meditech is preferred.
