Payroll Administrator

What you get to do:
* Coordinate with multi-state business unit operations and Human Resources to process payroll
* Authority to resolve team member payroll issues within established guidelines
* Validate pay data entries, calculations and processing of team member paychecks
* Manipulate and import pay data and run related audit reports
* Process manual paychecks when needed
* Calculate special payments, bonuses, rate changes and vacation payouts as needed
* Complete wage and employment verification requests as needed
* Providing administrative support to the Finance functions and data analysis using Excel.
* Perform other duties as assigned
What it takes to succeed:
* Must have a high school diploma (Bachelor's degree preferred)
* Must have at least 1 year of payroll experience
* Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Must be proficient with MS Office - emphasis in Word and Excel
* Must work well in a team based environment
* Must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Must have attention to detail
* Must be able to work to deadlines.
* Must have an understanding of state and federal payroll laws and tax requirements
* Must have a customer service focus
* Must be able to handle confidential information in an appropriate manner
* May be required to work holidays, weekends, and extended hours beyond regular business days to accommodate processing schedules
* Demonstrated payroll processing experience with prior ADP and Workday experience preferred
* Garnishment knowledge preferred
* Wisely Pay Card knowledge preferred
