ABOUT OUR AGENCY:

I opened my agency in May 2018 and currently lead a close-knit team of three. I graduated from SUNY Oswego with a degree in Operations Management and began my career with Enterprise Rent-A-Car before becoming an Account Manager with Hertz. In that role, I worked closely with claims centers, local branches, repair shops, and State Farm agents, which ultimately introduced me to the agency opportunity and led me to open an office of my own.

Being involved in our community is a huge part of who we are. My team and I serve as Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors, and I'm a member of the American Business Women's Association. We also volunteer with United Way's Day of Caring & Action and proudly support Vestal youth sports, school athletics, and community events like the Summer Celebration, Movie Night at the Park, Splash Bash, and Challenger League.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

As a Customer Service Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member with Alexa Langeland - State Farm Agent, you will generate the kind of exceptional customer experiences that reinforce the growth of a successful insurance agency. Your attention to detail, customer service skills, and desire to help people make you a fit. You will enhance your career while resolving customer inquiries, coordinating with other agency team members, and anticipating the needs of the community members you support.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Answer customer inquiries and provide policy information.
• Assist customers with policy changes and updates.
• Process insurance claims and follow up with customers.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.

Compensation: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
