NOC Engineer I

Providing comprehensive support for network health, the full-time NOC Engineer I - Outage Management will monitor outages, coordinate resolution efforts, and analyze performance issues remotely while working the 3rd shift schedule from 11 pm to 7 am. Key responsibilities Coordinates network outages with various teams to ensure quick and effective resolution Performs event notifications for internal teams and external customers Diagnoses and resolves escalated network performance problems while monitoring impacted systems Required qualifications Strong understanding of Ethernet and TCP IP networking, including FTTH and GPON technologies 2-4+ years of professional network operations experience or five or more years of related engineering experience High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred CCNA certification preferred Ability to work a 24/7 operational schedule, including nights and weekends
