Job Description
Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Assignment Details

Contract length varies with a maximum of 7 days for time off (RTO). Floating within the facility is required as needed. No call requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; first-time travelers accepted
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIH certification preferred
• Experience in telemetry nursing with adult to geriatric patient populations
• Proficiency in Epic EMR system required

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients with cardiology-related diagnoses including CHF, MI, dysrhythmias, and sepsis
• Monitor vital signs and interpret telemetry readings
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning

Compliance / Notes

Full compliance with onboarding requirements is mandatory to start on time. If not compliant, a two-week push back may occur due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule. Orientation hours vary based on contract length.
