Responsibilities include:

• Provide direct Occupational Therapy services to students across up to 10 schools, ensuring diverse needs are met efficiently
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and intervention plans
• Supervise and mentor a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), fostering professional development and optimal student support
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address barriers to student participation and success
• Document progress, maintain records, and provide updates for IEP meetings in compliance with school policies
• Deliver staff training and family consultation to promote successful carryover of therapy strategies

Preferred qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and current certification/licensure
• Prior experience working in school-based settings, including assessment and therapy plan development
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with students, families, and educators
• Experience supervising COTAs or other paraprofessionals (strongly desired)
• Comfortable managing a caseload spanning multiple school sites
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between locations as needed
