Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.87 / Hour Job Schedule Wed 11:30 PM - 07:30 AM Fri 11:30 PM - 07:30 AM Sun 11:30 PM - 07:30 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to residents, guests, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a shelter environment. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, entrances, exits, common spaces, and perimeter areas, helping to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor access to the location by observing visitor activity, checking credentials when required, and reporting unauthorized entry attempts and/or policy violations according to site procedures. Document incidents, daily activities, and unusual observations in written reports, and communicate relevant security-related information to Allied Universal leadership and/or designated site personnel. Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
