Within MSWM, the Capital Markets team supports clients globally across multiple asset classes by delivering differentiated market insights and high-touch service.Primary ResponsibilitiesProvide fixed income market commentary, strategy, and relative-value trade ideas to MSWM Financial Advisors.Conduct portfolio reviews and recommend reallocations aligned with client objectives and prevailing market conditions.Leverage internal desk resources (including credit analysis and strategy) to evaluate portfolios and support investment recommendations.Partner with the Advisory Trading Desk to source products and execute fixed income transactions.Qualifications / RequirementsBachelor’s degree required.1-3 years of experience in fixed income sales and trading.Proficiency with Bloomberg; familiarity with rating agencies.Fundamental understanding of global credit and interest-rate markets and/or municipalsDemonstrated ability to identify investment opportunities and analyze client portfolios.Strong communication skills, with the ability to summarize complex analysis clearly and concisely in both written and verbal formats.Self-motivated and collaborative, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while exercising sound judgment and strong time-management skills.Ability to analyze and interpret complex information accuratelyLicenses: SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 (or Series 63 and Series 65) required within three months of hire.WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY:At Morgan Stanley, we raise, manage and allocate capital for our clients – helping them reach their goals.
