Position Summary

The Speech-Language Pathologist provides services to students, staff, and families that improve and develop the use of speech and language for eligible students with disabilities.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master's degree required in speech-language pathology or a valid Michigan teacher's certificate with full approval in the speech and language impaired required.
• A valid Speech-Language Pathologist license from the State of Michigan.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is required.
• Clinical fellows with Educational Limited Speech-Language Pathologist license from the State of Michigan will be considered, on-site clinical fellowship supervision is available.
• Previous experience with students with severe handicaps and augmentative communication systems and devices preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: $52,361 - $92,683 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications

Work Schedule: 186 days / 7.0 hours daily

Paid Time Off:

• Sick days - 10
• Personal Business days - 3
• Bereavement Leave
