Staff Accountant

Our client in Winter Park, FL is seeking an onsite, direct hire Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close activities. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with strong general ledger experience who enjoys working in a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement and supporting schedule preparation Complete bank reconciliations and research reconciling items Manage fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and prepaid expense accounting Assist with variance analysis Apply cash receipts and support accounts receivable functions Maintain accurate financial records and documentation Support internal and external audits Identify process improvements and assist with special projects Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 3+ years of Staff Accountant or general accounting experience Strong experience with: Bank Reconciliations, Fixed Assets & Depreciation, Journal Entries, Month-End Close, Prepaid Expenses, General Ledger Accounting Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Strong analytical and organizational skills Salary Range $60-70K #J-18808-Ljbffr
