Litigation Attorney

Overview Amundsen Davis seeks a Litigation Associate to join its Chicago office. The ideal candidate is licensed in Illinois and has at least four years of civil litigation experience in a law firm. You will represent clients in all aspects of litigation, including but not limited to oral and written discovery, and active motion and trial practice in both state and federal court. Experience with drafting pleadings, responding to written discovery, conducting depositions, client communications, and preparing case evaluations on liability, damages, and recommended course of action is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, well-organized, and detail oriented. Strong communication skills, solid analytical and writing skills, and the ability to work well on a team are also required. Location Chicago, IL 60601 – 150 N Michigan Ave, Suite 3300, Chicago Office Responsibilities Represent clients in all aspects of litigation, including oral and written discovery, active motion and trial practice in both state and federal court. Qualifications Licensed to practice in Illinois Minimum 4 years of civil litigation experience in a law firm Strong oral and written discovery skills, including drafting pleadings, responding to discovery, and conducting depositions Detail-oriented, self-motivated, well-organized Strong communication, analytical, and writing skills; ability to work well in a team Salary & Benefits The annual base salary range anticipated for this position in Illinois is $140,000-$175,000, depending upon experience. This salary range excludes available bonus opportunities.
