Kitchen Manager - Full-time

We're looking for a hands-on leader to join our team! As Kitchen Manager, you will be the driving force behind our back-of-house operations, ensuring every pastry, dessert, and savory item that leaves our kitchen meets the high standards our customers have come to love. Job Description: * Oversee daily pastry, dessert, and savory production, keeping quality and consistency front and center. * Communicate with front-of-house staff throughout the day to ensure products stay fully stocked and production keeps pace with demand. * Execute production plans based on retail demand, pre-orders, and wholesale commitments, adjusting levels during seasonal and holiday peaks. * Supervise, train, and support our production, decorating, and savory teams, assigning daily tasks and managing workflow. * Verify recipes are followed precisely and inspect products before they reach retail display or wholesale packaging. * Monitor ingredient levels, place orders with suppliers, and help reduce waste through proper rotation (FIFO) and portion control. * Enforce sanitation and food safety standards, ensuring compliance with local health department regulations. * Lead new product ideation, seasonal menu planning, and collaborate on flavor pairings and packaging strategy. * Foster a culture of accountability, efficiency, and craftsmanship among the team. Requirements: * Strong pastry and bakery production experience required; prior kitchen leadership experience preferred. * Solid understanding of food cost, waste control, and inventory management. * Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. * High attention to detail and a commitment to quality and brand standards. * Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed. * Must be reliable, punctual, and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
