Location: The Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital, Columbus, OH

Start Date: 09/21/2026

Duration: Through 12/21/2026

Shift: Day shift; options include 3x12s (8a-8:30p) or 4x10s (10a-8:30p) with call required

Hours/Week: 36-40 hours

Employment Type: Temporary/Contract (W-2)

Licenses/Certifications: Valid RN license; BLS required; ACLS preferred

Experience: Minimum of 2 years PACU or related ICU experience; Epic experience required; Level 1 trauma/outpatient experience preferred

Hourly Pay Rate: $59.18

What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality care in cardiac and surgical pre/post-operative settings
• Manage patient assessments, interventions, and recovery protocols
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately in Epic Electronic Medical Records
• Monitor patient status and respond to emergencies promptly
• Assist with patient education and discharge planning
• Support unit operations during high-acuity procedures like CABG, AAA repair, TAVR, EVAR, and more

What You Need

Required:

• Valid Ohio RN license
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years PACU or ICU experience
• Epic EMR experience

Preferred:

• ACLS certification
• Experience with Level 1 trauma or outpatient surgery
• Past charge nurse or leadership experience
