Job Duties Ensure all necessary work orders are released and accompanying paperwork is attached Plan production to meet customer ship/delivery requirement dates and launch dates from QA, Sales, and Engineering Prepare production orders for the assembly floor to meet daily production needs Perform inventory management, investigate discrepancies, and enter data correctly in the system; orchestrate cycle counts and inventory adjustments when needed Attend and contribute to weekly board meetings, communicating scheduling and production needs with operations, purchasing, and engineering Coordinate customer orders and deliveries with necessary departments, identify delivery exceptions, and provide alternate solutions Assist in inventory obsolescence processes, analyzing parts and quantities, and collaborate with Sales, QA, and Engineering on keep/scrap decisions Prioritize weekly job lists for departments and work centers as needed Plan, schedule, and monitor material movement in the production cycle to ensure continuous operations Manage material shortages and provide immediate resolution; verify inventory counts with appropriate staff when necessary Develop, evaluate, and improve processes within the area of responsibility Work with floor supervisors and leads to research and resolve open orders over one week Ensure all requests from the Customer Service department are met; issue orders or adjust inventory accordingly Keep training documentation and work instructions current to support planning and capacity management processes This job description is not exhaustive; other duties may be assigned. Education & Skill Requirements Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and orally High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required 1+ years’ experience in manufacturing, planning, scheduling, logistics, ERP systems, or supply chain operations and analysis preferred Experience with ERP/MRP systems Knowledge of supply chain, operations, planning, and forecasting techniques Ability to manage projects effectively, driven by constraints, due dates, and cost considerations; able to handle multiple projects simultaneously Physical Demands & Work Environment Position requires traveling and working throughout the entire facility with reasonable accommodation.
