Physician - Pediatric Rheumatologist

Ochsner Children’s Hospital is seeking a full‑time Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatric Rheumatologist in New Orleans, Louisiana. The successful candidate must have completed a Pediatric Rheumatology Fellowship from an ACGME accredited program. Responsibilities Provide primarily outpatient consultative care to infants, children, and adolescents with known or suspected rheumatologic conditions. Partner with medical and surgical colleagues to serve children with complex conditions in multidisciplinary programs. Teaching & Research Teach medical students, residents, and allied health students. Engage in clinical and translational research opportunities. Earn an academic appointment commensurate with experience. Education & Research Opportunities ACGME‑accredited pediatric residency program and Ochsner Pediatric Residency Program. Teaching opportunities with medical students from Tulane University and the University of Queensland. Associate with Xavier Ochsner College of Medicine (currently in LCME accreditation). Faculty publish hundreds of research papers annually and lead multi‑center studies and clinical trials. Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatric Rheumatologist. Completed Pediatric Rheumatology Fellowship from an ACGME accredited program. Strong clinical and academic skills in pediatric rheumatology. Ochsner is an equal opportunity employer.
