Inside Sales Representative

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred. 2–5 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or sales support, ideally within electronics, industrial, or B2B distribution environments. Experience supporting outside sales teams or manufacturers’ representatives is preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a professional, customer-focused phone presence. Proficiency with CRM and ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar) and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook). Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of inbound and outbound customer interactions in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in quoting and order accuracy. Comfortable making proactive outbound sales calls and working on structured call campaigns. Position Description: We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative (ISR) to support sales growth for three of our customer's brands. This role manages inbound and outbound customer interactions, provides quoting and order support to the outside sales team and manufacturers’ representatives, and manages relationships with direct customer accounts. The ISR executes outbound call campaigns against targeted customer lists to generate new opportunities, delivers real-time quote support to outside sales team members while they are traveling, and serves as a responsive, knowledgeable point of contact for customers across all three brands. Success requires strong communication skills, CRM proficiency, and the ability to manage a high volume of customer interactions in a fast-paced sales environment. General Duties and Responsibilities: Respond promptly and professionally to inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and web regarding products, pricing, availability, and order status. Conduct outbound call campaigns based on target customer lists to generate new leads, re-engage dormant accounts, support Tier 2/3 accounts with quote follow-up, and expand existing relationships. Maintain a high standard of customer service across all inbound and outbound interactions. Customer response needs to be within 4 hours and on the same day. Connecting with customers where we need more time to respond and setting a follow-up date/time. Outside Sales & Manufacturers’ Rep Support Partner with outside sales representatives and manufacturers’ reps to support their assigned accounts, including quote preparation, order entry, and follow-up. Prepare and deliver accurate, timely price quotations for the outside sales team, including real-time support while team members are traveling or on-site with customers. Coordinate with outside sales and reps on account strategy, pricing, and customer follow-up to support deal closure. Large Direct Account Management Serve as the primary point of contact for large direct customer accounts, managing day-to-day order activity, quoting, and issue resolution. Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, distributors, and manufacturers’ reps to drive repeat business and customer satisfaction. Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities during customer interactions and route qualified opportunities appropriately. CRM & Data Management Accurately enter and maintain customer and opportunity data in CRM and ERP systems. Track and report on outbound call campaign activity and results, including calls made, conversions, and follow-up actions. Maintain data hygiene and follow established CRM standards and processes. Collaborate with the Sales Supervisor and broader sales team on pipeline development, campaign strategy, and territory coverage. Coordinate with Customer Service, Applications Engineering, and Operations to resolve customer issues and ensure order accuracy.
