Part-Time SPANISH Instructor

Part-Time Spanish Instructor Perimeter College is seeking part‑time instructors in Spanish who will play a key role in educating and supporting students. Responsibilities While specific duties are not itemized, instructors will be expected to teach Spanish at the collegiate level, employ a variety of teaching methods, facilitate student learning, and utilize instructional technology. Qualifications Minimum of a Master’s degree in Spanish with at least 18 semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) in the teaching discipline. If holding a Master’s in a related field, must have at least 18 semester (27 quarter) hours of graduate Spanish coursework. Preferred Qualifications Previous teaching experience, including online instruction. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to teach Spanish at the collegiate level. Ability to teach effectively using a variety of methods. Ability to relate to students and facilitate student learning. Effective communication skills. Excellent organizational and teaching skills. Demonstrated knowledge of instructional technology. Additional Requirements Criminal background check is required. Position may require non‑standard hours (day, evening, online, hybrid, weekend, etc.). Salary: $3,075 for each 3‑credit hour course taught.
