Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify the emotional, social, and environmental factors impacting a patient’s treatment for substance use disorders.

• Utilize evidenced-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing to provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions.

• Develop, implement, and frequently assess individualized care plans that are aligned with the specific needs of patients and their families.

• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, addiction specialists, and other team members to facilitate effective discharge planning and transition of care.

• Conduct patient education sessions to equip individuals and families with coping strategies relevant to addiction and recovery.

• Engage in crisis intervention as needed, addressing acute psychological or emotional distress experienced by patients during their detoxification process.

• Participate in on-call rotations for after-hour support, ensuring continuous access to care and guidance for patients.

• Act as a resource for other staff, providing education and consultation on social work best practices.

• Present at educational conferences, sharing expertise on psychosocial aspects of addiction treatment to enhance community knowledge.

• Contribute to the organization’s community outreach initiatives, promoting education, resources, and service access for cancer survivors and others impacted by substance abuse.

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
