Junior Account Manager

The Specialized Recruiting Group of Express Employment Professionals in Greenwood is partnered with a global leading manufacturing company to help them direct hire a Junior Account Manager ! This company is located on the south side of downtown Indianapolis and has been family owned and operated for over 70 years.


Job Summary/Company Information:

• In this role, you will be assigned 50 or more global clients and will act as the primary liaison to these clients, building critical relationships to ensure customer satisfaction. Communications are primarily by way of telephone and email. Some duties will include the following:
• Oversee the resolution of client inquiries, processing orders, handling client escalations, building and maintaining internal and external relationships and managing the day-to-day needs of the client.
• Strengthen and maintain relationships with clients to provide best in class service to drive growth and retention.
• Update internal database with client changes and process preferences.
• Partner with purchasing and inventory to ensure material availability to fulfill customer orders.
• Work with engineering to assemble materials and procedures to meet new customer requirements.
• Collaborate with production management to establish and maintain expectations and timelines.
• Communicate corrective action on defective or rejected parts.

Pay/Benefits:

• Direct Hire
• $40K-$43K annual salary plus bonus potential between 12-15 additional weeks of pay per year

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8hr shift between 7AM - 5PM with a one-hour lunch


Requirements:

• 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Manufacturing industry experience a plus
• College degree a plus
• Self-motivated and technically driven
• Experience in Customer Service, Sales, Order Coordination, or Project Coordination required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Word and Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong math aptitude
• Ability to multi-task with shifting priorities
• Strong decision making, problem solving, and creative thinking skills
• Impeccable organizational skills
