Major Duties and Responsibilities Welcome all customers and set expectations. Custom‑fit glasses and precisely place prescriptions in lenses. Act as a leader in optical acumen. Take measurements, accurately adjust and fit eyewear with attention to detail, ensuring finished eyewear meets standards and customer needs. Assist team with complex product needs and prescriptions. Use technology accurately and thoroughly despite time pressure and customer volume, demonstrating exceptional product knowledge and appropriate tool use. Proactively explore root causes of issues, think forward, ensure customer satisfaction and exceed expectations, and be solution‑driven. Multi‑task, prioritize and manage time with competing priorities. Strive to achieve exceptional results on brand KPIs and competencies. Maintain store appearance, keeping it clean, attractive and organized. Inform management of safety opportunities and demonstrate safe work practices. Be resourceful and self‑motivated with a desire for continual learning, improvement and results. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including discounts, promotions and inventory management. Basic Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent. State licensure. Optical dispensing experience. Strong customer‑service skills: communicator, listener and team builder. Knowledge of current store merchandise. Strong basic math skills. Awareness of current fashion trends. Selling skills—the ability to use and carry an iPad/tablet. Familiarity with POS, computers and calculators. Embrace new technology and change. Preferred Qualifications Previous customer service and retail experience. Pay Range: 25.02‑39.02 Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, a competitive bonus and/or commission plan may be offered, complementing a first‑class total rewards package.
