Scaffold Helper

Scaffold HelperResource must be able to commute to the job site in one of the five boroughs or NJ. Does not necessarily need to live close to the office in Carlstadt. The ability to climb scaffold, ladders, and stairs on a repetitive basis is necessary to perform the day-to-day functions of a Scaffold Helper. Scaffold Helper should also have a fair knowledge of system, and tube and clamp scaffold equipment. They must also be able to tie appropriate knots as they pertain to hoisting and rigging scaffold components (Bowline, timber hitch & clove hitch). Other Scaffold Helper duties may include:Receiving and returning material to scaffold yard/Client-downKnowledge of quality control checks and inspectionsKnowledge of scaffold hand signalsKnowledge of material handling techniquesBasing out and erecting scaffold towers, hangers and cantileversInstalling toe boards, guardrails, ladders, etc. on scaffold towers and low-level cantileversPerform general laborer duties which pertain to the scaffold tradeQualifications:High school diploma or GED, preferredMust have at least 2 years of experience in the Scaffold tradeBilingual communication, preferredDriver requirements in accordance with Brand Vehicle Policy
