- Realizar mantenimiento preventivo y reparaciones de camiones y remolques diésel.
- Aprender a diagnosticar problemas mecánicos utilizando herramientas y equipos de diagnóstico.
- Realizar inspecciones de vehículos y asegurarse de que cumplan con los estándares de seguridad.
- Reparar o reemplazar componentes defectuosos, incluyendo frenos, motores, transmisiones y otros sistemas.
- Realizar mantenimiento de sistemas eléctricos, hidráulicos y mecánicos.
- Mantener registros precisos de las reparaciones y trabajos de mantenimiento realizados.
- Trabajar en equipo con otros mecánicos y miembros del departamento de mantenimiento.
- Seguir los procedimientos de seguridad de la empresa y mantener un ambiente de trabajo seguro.
- Mantener el área de trabajo limpia y organizada.
- Continuar aprendiendo y desarrollando conocimientos sobre tecnología y sistemas de vehículos diésel.
- Diploma de escuela secundaria o equivalente es una ventaja.
- Formación técnica en mecánica diésel es una ventaja, pero no es obligatoria .
- No se requiere experiencia previa.
- Se valorará cualquier experiencia previa en mecánica, mantenimiento, camiones o equipos pesados.
- Capacidad y disposición para aprender nuevas habilidades.
- Buena actitud y capacidad para trabajar en equipo.
- Responsabilidad, puntualidad y fuerte ética de trabajo.
- Atención al detalle y compromiso con la seguridad.
- Capacidad para resolver problemas y seguir instrucciones.
- Capacidad para trabajar de manera independiente y como parte de un equipo.
- Licencia CDL es una ventaja, pero no es obligatoria .
- Disponibilidad para trabajar horarios flexibles cuando sea necesario.
