Acute Product Consultant

Abbott seeks an Acute Product Consultant to drive regional adoption and utilization of the CentriMag blood pump system for mechanical circulatory support. The role combines clinical expertise with sales acumen, requiring independent relationship-building, product education, and collaboration across clinical and commercial teams.
Responsibilities
- Serve as regional expert on CentriMag use for extracorporeal life support and cannulation
- Identify and qualify new centers for CentriMag adoption through independent relationship-building
- Lead product demonstrations, education sessions, and post-purchase training initiatives
- Attend major clinical meetings and develop key opinion leader relationships in ECLS and acute circulatory support
- Support sales team with competitive intelligence, product suggestions, and educational materials
Requirements
- Clinical experience in acute mechanical circulatory support or related fields
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience
- Minimum 3 years medical device or healthcare industry experience
- Demonstrated sales experience in competitive, team-selling environments
- Ability to navigate complex clinical environments and motivate diverse stakeholders
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
- Nursing, biomedical engineering, or medical discipline degree preferred
