About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate Dean of Academic Affairs to oversee and coordinate all programs and activities that support student recruitment, education, and retention. The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting or exceeding retention, student satisfaction, and certification goals, as well as coordinating student reentry and readmission processes. This role requires the ability to provide leadership that aligns with the mission and goals of the institution, ensuring that academic courses and support services meet the needs of faculty, students, and the community. The Associate Dean will also assist in the development and maintenance of student schedules, coordinate academic advising, and verify that all classes have qualified faculty coverage. Applicants for the Associate Dean position at the company should have a Master's degree in education or a related field, with a minimum of three years of successful teaching experience at the college level. The role demands a patient, empathetic, and adaptable individual with strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work extended hours, and a commitment to meeting the needs of the institution. Responsibilities include providing support in faculty recruitment, conducting classroom observations, and ensuring compliance with state, accreditation, and regulatory bodies.
