About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Payment Networks Strategy to play a pivotal role in managing critical relationships with payment networks and driving growth opportunities within the portfolios. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning and managing these relationships, including contract negotiations, and will work closely with cobrand and dual card portfolios to identify and execute growth and efficiency opportunities. This role requires a strategic thinker with the ability to drive negotiations, partner with cross-functional teams, and provide insights into performance and opportunities. The VP will also be expected to create and present strategic updates to executive leadership and other key functions. Applicants for the VP, Payment Networks Strategy position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree (preferred) with at least 8 years of experience in financial services, fintech, or payments, or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 10 years in the same fields. A strong background in managing strategic relationships, cross-functional management, and data analytics is essential, with a preference for candidates holding an MBA or Master’s degree in a related field. The role demands excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work with multiple stakeholders and lead problem-solving for complex business issues. The ideal candidate will be proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and have a proven track record of developing data-driven perspectives and presenting insights to business leaders.
