Location: Fort Myers, FL
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm
Pay: $19/hr

Position Summary

A well-established aviation organization in Fort Myers is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to join their team. In this role, you will support internal and external customers, communicate with multiple departments, and ensure accurate processing of customer requests and repair orders. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative and customer service skills who wants long-term stability and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email.
• Review customer requirements and relay information to appropriate departments.
• Serve as a liaison between the repair shop, customers, and internal leadership.
• Scan, save, and send quotes; process customer approvals.
• Enter received and shipped units into customer portals.
• Create and process sales orders and exchanges when needed.
• Complete internal audits prior to shipping customer units.
• Prepare outbound shipping details and communicate waybill information.
• Maintain accuracy in Excel-based work order logs.
• Notify customers of discrepancies or capability issues.
• Handle RFQs from customers and internal sales teams.
• Open work orders for incoming units.
• Collaborate with Quality to resolve customer-related cases.
• Download and organize shop photos of customer units.
• Prepare weekly production and status reports.
• Assist with ordering and coordinating promotional materials for events.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of customer service experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage changing priorities.
• Strong work ethic and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with COSMOS or similar operating systems preferred.

Work Environment & Physical Expectations

• Primarily office-based role with moderate noise level.
• Position requires regular sitting, typing, and occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
