Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 3x12 or 4x12 schedule available, weekdays with every other weekend, 13-week contract with possible extension

Highlights:

• 12-bed inpatient oncology unit with medical-surgical overflow
• Patient ratios of 1:5-6 across all shifts
• Cerner EMR system
• Blocked scheduling available
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, pharmacy, rapid response, and more
• Oncology experience preferred but not required; excellent opportunity for med-surg nurses looking to expand into oncology

Requirements:

• Current RN license (West Virginia or Compact state license required)
• Minimum 2 years RN experience required
• BLS and ACLS certification through American Heart Association (AHA) required
• NIHSS certification required
• ONS chemo/bio certification preferred
• IV insertion and management skills required
• Minimum of 2 manager or charge nurse references from the past 2 years
• Permanent address must be 100+ miles from facility location
• Previous travel experience not required
