Job Description
- Craft Unique Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and create tailored therapy strategies to support their functional achievements
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ research-driven methods to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily life tasks
- Engage with Multidisciplinary Teams: Collaborate closely with fellow OTs, PTs, SLPs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive and holistic care
- Guide Patients and Their Families: Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques to foster progress beyond clinical settings
- Track and Document Progress: Monitor treatment outcomes and adjust therapy plans as necessary, ensuring patients remain on their paths to success
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized academic institution
- Ongoing education or additional certifications highly valued and supported
- Possession of a valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
- Certification from the NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) is required
- A genuine passion for helping others reach optimal levels of independence
- Empathetic communication skills, aiding in interactions with patients and colleagues alike
