Job Description A global clinical diagnostics firm that is dedicated to the continuous development of rapid and accurate signature‑based measurement for major chronic diseases diagnosis and monitoring is seeking a National Director of Commercial Operations. The firm’s instrument systems are routinely used in clinical laboratories for screening of serum and other fluids for protein abnormalities. The company is expanding a test menu of assays utilizing Capillary electrophoresis and the detection of antibodies and diseases associated with autoimmune and infectious diseases. The company’s instrumentation systems offerings have been developed to provide complete automation, with fast protein separation at high resolution for one set of instrument systems as well as the detection and analysis of autoimmune and infectious diseases for another key instrument product line. The company is seeking a National Director of Commercial Operations for the Southeast Remote who must be capable of achieving maximum product sales and profits for the United States for their autoimmune and infectious diseases business. He/She will report to the Senior Vice‑President of the Americas. The National Director of Commercial Operations is a key sales‑management role managing a group of ten regional salespeople and five regional marketing managers that will play a crucial role in shaping the company’s growth trajectory. This position demands a blend of strategic acumen, technical expertise, and exceptional leadership skills. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to drive sales directly and lead the sales group, foster collaboration, and contribute significantly to the long‑term success of the organization. Knowledge & Skills Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or related field; MBA or B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Sciences is a plus. Located in the geographic business area (North America, preferably United States). Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in Clinical Diagnostics, with expertise in Immunoassays, Proteins, Auto‑Immunity, Infectious Diseases, IFA or core laboratory arenas. Proficient in CRM/SFDC tools. Knowledge of medical laboratory practices is essential. Foster collaboration and teamwork within the sales and support teams. Honesty, reliable and open‑minded behavior with great sales talents. Excellent leadership, sales management, presentation, communication and negotiating skills.
