Job Opportunity at Ontario International Airport Authority
Ontario International Airport Authority (CA) is seeking a Marketing Specialist to join their team. This position offers a competitive salary range of $82,400 $118,450 annually, depending on experience level, and includes a generous benefits package.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in marketing efforts to increase passenger growth and usage at Ontario International Airport (ONT) and attract new domestic and international airline services. This position reports to the Marketing Manager and involves a variety of complex technical and administrative functions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with comprehensive marketing and communications strategies
- Updating and coordinating website content
- Supporting newsletters and email marketing communications
- Developing and implementing marketing and communications strategies
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with key targets and industry partners
- Working closely with local stakeholders and external partners
- Maximizing cooperative marketing funds through partnerships
- Developing new strategies and content to build a positive perception of the ONT brand
- Preparing accurate and timely reports
- Collaborating on dynamic marketing materials and creative approaches
- Assisting with planning of on-property and off-property events
For Level III, additional responsibilities include managing website content, developing and coordinating newsletters and email marketing communications, and participating in and training others on marketing strategies.
The ideal candidate should possess subject matter expertise in marketing, communications, and digital design, with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is required, along with experience in digital marketing and website content management.
Physical demands include finger dexterity to use a keyboard, ability to lift and carry files, and working in various environments including climate-controlled offices and passenger airline terminals.
Additional requirements include a valid driver's license, passing background checks, and successfully completing all phases of the selection process.
