Are you looking to break into the technology and telecommunications industry? We are seeking motivated, hardworking individuals to join our team as Entry-Level Structured Cabling Technicians . This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience installing and supporting network infrastructure while working alongside experienced technicians on large-scale projects.

No extensive cabling experience required. Candidates with construction, warehouse, or hands-on labor experience are encouraged to apply!

What You'll Do

As an Entry-Level Structured Cabling Technician, you will assist with the installation, organization, and testing of network cabling systems in a professional environment. Responsibilities include:

• Pulling, dressing, and labeling Cat5e/Cat6 cabling according to industry standards
• Assisting with RJ45 connector terminations and patch panel installations
• Labeling and identifying cables for organized network infrastructure
• Learning and performing basic punch-down terminations for telecom blocks
• Supporting cable testing activities using tools such as Fluke and EXFO under supervision
• Gaining exposure to fiber optic cable handling and cable management best practices
• Following all safety procedures and maintaining a clean work area
• Working closely with senior technicians and project supervisors

What We're Looking ForRequired Skills

• Cat5e and Cat6 cabling experience or knowledge
• Cable installation experience
• Structured cabling experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with terminations and punch-downs
• Construction, warehouse, or other physically demanding work experience
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Albany, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
