The Department of Neurology and Rehabilitation Medicine at The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates (MFA), an independent, nonprofit clinical practice group affiliated with The George Washington University (GWU), is seeking physiatrists for its growing Division of Rehabilitation Medicine. The Division provides a collegial environment of the highest caliber for clinical practice at the George Washington University Hospital, a Level 1 academic trauma center in Washington, DC. These non-tenure-track appointments, expected to start as early as Fall 2025, will be made at a rank (Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor) and salary commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities include serving as an Inpatient Acute Hospital Consultant, Outpatient Physiatrists, and Inpatient Attending Physiatrists in our 16-bed unit. Additional clinical opportunities are available for those with an interest in traumatic brain injury. Full-time faculty also teach medical students and engage in scholarly activity.

Applicants must be board-certified or board-eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) and be eligible for licensure in the District of Columbia and Maryland at the time of appointment. Applicants must also demonstrate excellence in both clinical care and clinical research. Clinical experience, strong communication skills, a desire for collaboration, and a commitment to quality are necessary.

Advertised Salary: $200,000 - $300,000
