About the Role
The Company is seeking an AVP for Supplemental Health Product Management to lead the strategic development and management of a key growth area within the employee benefits sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting the Supplemental Health strategy in collaboration with senior leadership, owning the product roadmap, and ensuring the portfolio remains competitive and relevant. This role involves leading a team of product management professionals, partnering with various business leaders to influence product performance, and maintaining a strong external market perspective to drive innovation and growth. The AVP will also be the face of the Supplemental Health portfolio, representing the business to external partners and ensuring regulatory and compliance excellence. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in the employee benefits or insurance industry, with a focus on Supplemental Health products. The role requires a proven track record in strategic product leadership, a strong understanding of product development and management, and the ability to lead through influence in a matrixed organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in bringing new products to market, a deep understanding of voluntary benefits distribution, and a background in advancing integrated customer experiences and digital product capabilities. Financial acumen, executive communication skills, and the ability to lead and develop high-performing teams are essential. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required, and the role may involve up to 10% travel.
