Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at our facility in Apple Grove, WV, 25502. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and systems. If you have a passion for problem-solving and a knack for keeping things running efficiently, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities- Conduct regular maintenance checks on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs to enhance equipment longevity.
- Collaborate with other team members to develop and execute maintenance schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Provide technical support and training to staff as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer or similar role.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and maintenance software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
