Our client is looking for a Software Engineer (Java Backend) in Charlotte, NC, below is the detailed requirement.
Job Title: Software Engineer (Java Backend)
Location: Charlotte, NC
Required Skills: Java / Microservices / Database Development, Virtual Assets & Blockchain Analytics Experience, Chainalysis, TRM Labs, Elliptic, or similar platform exposure
Job Description:
- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- Java 11/17+ with Spring Boot and Microservices
- Strong backend development experience
- Advanced SQL and database design/performance tuning
- REST APIs and integration services
- Test automation using JUnit, Mockito, TestNG, Rest Assured, or Selenium
- CI/CD pipeline experience
- Agile development experience.
- Design and develop new Java-based microservices
- Build scalable APIs and integration solutions
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks
- Support blockchain and digital asset analytics initiatives
- Collaborate within a 6-member Agile team.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with virtual assets, blockchain analytics, and digital asset transaction monitoring.
- Familiarity with Chainalysis, TRM Labs, Elliptic, or similar blockchain platforms
- Understanding of cryptocurrency ecosystems, wallet attribution, on-chain analytics, and financial crime compliance
- Experience integrating blockchain data sources into enterprise applications for risk management and regulatory reporting
