Position Summary The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for providing support to the HRBP's and leading recruiting efforts, new employee onboarding/orientation, and benefits administration across the Archdiocese of San Antonio. Full-time Description The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for providing support to the HRBP's and leading recruiting efforts, new employee onboarding/orientation and benefits administration across the Archdiocese of San Antonio. Responsibilities Review, edit, and approve pending job posts in HRIS recruiting module; monitor for ongoing status every 90 days (refresh, close or pause). Assist with recruiting efforts for Pastoral Ministry Center: post/approve requisitions, telephone pre‑screens, coordinate interviews, conduct reference checks, and issue job offers. Manage new hire onboarding process with hiring managers at parishes and schools, ensuring accurate and timely processing in the HRIS system. Conduct new hire orientation for ADSA lay employees on policies, procedures, and benefits. Manage and ensure the timely processing of all new hire benefit enrollments, life status changes, and COBRA notifications in the HRIS. Report benefit changes that require payroll adjustments to the payroll administrator in a timely manner. Answer questions regarding plan benefits and coverage; assist with claims issues; act as liaison between employees and insurance providers as necessary. Process employee status changes in the HRIS system, updating employment status, benefit eligibility, and time‑off accruals. Coordinate annual open enrollment efforts across the ADSA, including communications and benefit meetings. Maintain ADSA employee and priest benefit guides with up‑to‑date information and upload them to all platforms. Generate monthly ACA reporting in compliance with federal guidelines and coordinate with HRBP’s for required employee changes or modifications to benefit coverage. Assist with the administration of employee requests for FMLA, ADA, and leave without pay. Review, research, and address issues from weekly fallout vendor electronic transfer files. Plan and coordinate employee social events and engagements. Assist with special projects as assigned by the Director of Human Resources. Adhere to safety training and protocols daily and take precautionary measures to ensure safety and well‑being of self and others. Protect confidentiality of information obtained in service with the organization, including client and donor names, gifts, internal and external investigations, and financial information. Adhere to the Code of Conduct and the Faith and Moral Policy. Take a solution‑oriented approach in interactions and promote collaboration and commitment to the Mission and Vision of the organization. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Human Resources. Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or five years’ equivalent experience. Minimum Knowledge And Skills Three years’ experience in recruiting, onboarding, and new employee orientation. Three years’ experience in benefit administration, including open enrollment and claim issue resolution. Bilingual in English and Spanish. Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong public speaking skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
