Packaging Technician

Our client, in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry, is seeking a Packaging Technician to join their team. As a Packaging Technician, you will be part of the Manufacturing Support team supporting production and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Packaging Technician

Location: Mount Prospect, IL

Pay Range: $20.9

Shift: Evenings 3PM-1:30AM

What's the Job?

• Labels, assembles, and packages pharmaceutical products.
• Performs manual or automated filling and packaging of blistered and bottled pharmaceutical products.
• Accurately counts and prepares packaging components to ensure proper accountability prior to and at the completion of each job order.
• Ensures quality and productivity requirements are met in accordance with SOPs and cGMPs.
• Maintains cleanliness of packaging rooms and machinery following safety and regulatory standards.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with GMP regulations.
• Physical ability to stand, lift, bend, and work in cold environments (-8°C to -20°C).
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) certification including masks, safety glasses, and other safety gear.
