Certified Welding Inspector

What you’ll do: Requires knowledge of industry specific codes and standards. CWI‑Certification Required. Interpret and evaluate inspection results for welding fit‑up and filler metal placement as per applicable codes, standards, and specifications. Set up and calibrate all testing equipment. Use visual inspection techniques (VT), Ultrasonic testing (UT), and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) to perform non‑destructive tests to identify errors or defects in product. Oversee welder qualification tests and evaluate welder performance. Accurately complete and maintain all required records. Follow all safety rules and practices. Perform other duties as assigned. Overtime is expected and required to meet production goals.
