Position Overview Lecturer Management of Organizations – Lecturer – Haas School of Business Salary range: The UC academic salary scales set the minimum pay at appointment. The current full-time salary range for this position is $70,977-$199,722. Percent time: up to 33% Review timeline: see the review date specified in AP Recruit. Position duration: Initial appointments are one semester to one year. Position Description The Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley is generating an applicant pool of qualified temporary instructors to teach courses in Management of Organizations (power and politics, organizational behaviour, leadership, negotiations, decision making, conflict resolution, group and team dynamics, managing diversity, talent recruitment and retention, finding meaning and engagement in work, and people analytics). The pool will remain in place for one year and instructors will be called upon as openings arise. General Duties In addition to teaching responsibilities, general duties include: Holding office hours Assigning grades Advising students Preparing course materials Qualifications Basic qualifications (required at time of application) : Bachelor degree or equivalent international degree. Additional qualifications (required at time of start) : Minimum four years of professional practice in a field relevant to the course being taught. Preferred qualifications : Minimum two years of experience in leading people, conducting negotiations, coaching groups and teams, managing diversity, or recruiting and retaining talent in a business, government, or not‑for‑profit organization; or a PhD in psychology or sociology.
